@sorrycharlie: Hopefully I won't need to wash it a ton once DD2 gets here--I just wanted to wash it when it got here since I bought it secondhand. Do you still wear C in it? I might try putting E in it a little to break it in. :)

I wash mine rarely (the linen is amazing) and dry when I do wash. Wearing will break it in :)

@oliviaoblivia: Oooh, okay, these make sense. Thanks!

@Willow: Thanks! I had seen that, too, I just wondered if one was better than the other. Mine is SO stiff after hanging to dry.

@bushelandapeck: Good idea. Maybe that and a good ironing will do the trick. :)

Ironing will help.
Run it back and forth through the rings.
Use it often. It'll soften up.

I just got a used as well.

The "Care" page on their website says to either hang it or put it in the dryer on low.

@mfa_lady: I wouldn't hesitate to put it in the dryer on low for a few mins either to see if that helps!

@bushelandapeck: Oooh, okay. So using it is the key. Maybe I'll put my toddler in it for a few minutes here and there (she's still under the weight limit) to break it in a bit more. Thanks!

I dried mine and then it took a bit for it to soften up again but it has.

eta: I put mine in the dryer on delicate and it was a little stiff but softened up quickly after a few uses.

If you have a linen sling, do you dry it in the dryer?

I bought a used one, washed it and hung it to dry, and now it's pretty stiff. Wondering if drying would help, or mess it up. Help!
