No set schedule during the day yet--as soon as LO starts showing a pattern in naps, something changes :p

Lately she's asleep by 8-8:30pm and wakes around 5 or 6am to nurse. Back to sleep for another 1 to 3 hr stretch. She was taking 3 to 4 naps of 30-45 min each during the day, but we're nap training right now so for the last two days she's taken 3 or 4 naps ranging from 1 to 2.5 hrs. Awake time is anywhere from 45 min to 2 hrs before she goes in the crib awake, but it'll take her anywhere from 15 to 40 min before actually falling asleep. Needless to say, every day looks different but her nighttime sleep is pretty consistent.

@duckduckkristen: wow, I'm jealous. We are up at 1, 4 and 7 am.

Our naps were going well until this weekend. I'm having
Trouble getting more than 1 hour nap and no naps after 6:30 pm. I think 6:30 pm is his witching hour.

No real schedule during the day, but at night he goes down around 10pm, and sleeps til 9 or 10am, waking up once or twice to eat.

He usually isn't awake more than 2 hours during the day, but never naps for more than 45 minutes.

I had her on a great schedule until the past two days. Like most of the May babies, I think W is going through some sort of growth spurt right now. But I can share what her schedule WAS like (and hopefully what it will go back to):

In between 6-7 am: Wake
9 am: First nap (1.5 hours)
1:30: Second nap (1 hour)
4:30: third nap (1-1.5 hours)
6:30 SOMETIMES a quick 30 minute nap before bedtime
8:00 bed (however she does occasionally fight us on nighttime sleep and takes an hour or so to put down for bed)

She then does a 7 hour stretch at night, feeding, and then a 2.5-3 hour stretch.

@cvbee: I would love to get back on track and plan to after this growth spurt (?) is over. The problem has become that LO takes like 1/2 his bottle when he wakes up and that's it. He then wants the rest of it before he goes to sleep. Since I know how much he is drinking and since he's always been a peanut, it's hard not to let him have the rest of it before a nap.

I kept doing EASY and he's been on pretty much the same schedule for about 6 weeks (so, throughout being 3 months old).

Wake: 8am
Nap 1: 10am
Nap 2: 1:00pm
Nap 3: 4:00pm
Bedtime routine starts at 7pm, and he's sleeping at 8pm. One night feeding at around 2-4am. Sometimes an extra one at 6am.

I wouldn't feed him before nap, and sometimes I had to work really hard to put him down for a nap. And he always sucks my arm or something when going down for a nap, which one could interpret as a hunger sign, but I just take it that he needs to suck.

I love EASY and I encourage you to come back to EASY!

@regberadaisy: I do remember M has never been a big napper. The no nap thing is throwing me. Yesterday he did a 1 hour nap (1.5 hours after waking) and then otherwise just cat napped, which is not like him. His overnight sleep is only like 10 hours (I keep trying to move up bedtime to get more sleep out of him...) so he's gone from sleeping like 15 hours a day to 12. I am seriously running out of ways to entertain him during waking hours!

Here's M's:
NONE! hahaha

you're lucky you had some to begin with! :P

But seriously, you know she typically doesn't nap. So it's a crap shoot, in daycare she usually takes 3 20-30 minute naps. Then at night she's usually down by 7-730. Previously she was sleeping till 2/3am then up again around 4/5 am. But now sometimes she's up again at 10pm sometimes 12pm. And then pretty much waking every 2 hours after that. Then when she's up around 4am she will not go back in her crib.

I think it's teething/sleep regression thing. Just trying to ride it out. Sigh.

I had T's sleeping patterns down pretty well until a few weeks ago. We were following EASY during the day (Eat, Activity, Sleep, You) where he would be up for 1-1.5 hours then take a 1-2 hour nap. Lately that has gone out the window. He wakes up, might eat a little, then wants to play and doesn't show his sleepy cues as often. He then wants to eat a little more before his nap. I'm having a hard time reading his sleep cues, too! Part of it might be growth spurt related as for almost a week he has shown signs of a growth spurt. I feel like we have NO schedule right now and he's barely napping!

Can you share your 3 month old's sleep schedule? Help!
