We’ve been the past two years around then since we can drive. Warm enough to enjoy the pool without roasting and if you’re going before a school gets out the resort shouldn’t be as crowded yet. Which one are you staying at? We did get a lot of rain last year, but guess that could happen anytime. We take our kids so don’t have a lot of recs for adults but we did walk around the Hotel Emma-Pearl area and it was really fun and agree the Riverwalk/boat tour is worth doing once for sure. I would say the earlier, the better before it's super hot. It can be unpredictable - there was a TON of rain this year but it's not always like that. Some things to do: </p> <p>Fiesta! There's a big festival that's really fun in April with all kinds of activities. I went once with some friends in college so it was all about the drinking, haha. But could be fun as a real adult too. <a href="https://fiestasanantonio.org/" rel="nofollow">https://fiestasanantonio.org/</a> </p> <p>Riverwalk - really cute area with tons of restaurants and hotels along the river downtown. You can take a ferry rides. It's the quintessential SA tourist thing to do - kind of cheesy and Disney-ish but still great. </p> <p>Pearl district and specifically Hotel Emma - it's this gorgeous hotel made from a defunct brewery from the 19th century. Beautiful bar space and a good upscale restaurant called Supper. DH and I looking to travel in April or May to TX. I’ve never been and really excited. What’s the weather like in that area in mid April or May? Also, anything to do in or around the area? We are staying at a resort there so if there’s not much that’s fine just would like to see our options! TIA! </p>
