OK thanks for the tips! DD is being a *peach* today so that's not helping things. Maybe after nap I'll take her outside and hose her down along with the suits. Lol.

Oh yikes!! Maybe let the washer dry and vacuum out the sand? Then for clothes I let them dry outside, then shake out the sand, then wash.

Oh man. That sucks! Maybe vacuum out what you can? Or hand wipe them out? Good luck!

Wait until it dries and vacuum it out! We had to do the same with both our washer and dryer. You may have to do this a few times if there's still sand stuck in places that you can't vacuum, but it should come right on out once it dries.

We just got back from the beach (first trip for DD) and I washed all our suits on delicate and there was sand EVERYWHERE after. So I took them out and did a self clean. Just finished that and there's still sand in the bottom. :( This is my brand new washer/dryer set! Help me get all this sand out!

ETA: I haven't been to the beach in years so I'm extremely rustyon how to get sand out. I should've sprayed them with a hose first. I didn't realize how full of sand they were. I still have all our clothes to wash which have sand too. I wonder if I should just wash them and hope that'll help get the sand out of the bottom?
