We got LO a cheap pair of water shoes from babies r us. I don't remember how much they cost and of course I can't find them on their website, but they were less then $10.

My DS has a pair of speedo water shoes from Target for water play, and he wears his crocs to the pool. DD wears havianas flip flops everywhere (but at that age she didn't like the thing between toes so that wouldn't have worked) and she wears Mary Jane style crocs for school water play (closed toe requirement).

Last year we went with a Striderite sandal that was fine to be in the water too as well as some Natives. C wasn't a fan of the Striderites and the Natives weren't a good fit for his wide feet. This year we went with (and invested in) a pair of Keen's and C loves them. They look and feel comfortable enough I kind of want a pair for myself. We bought these and they are great in and out of the water, with and without socks: http://amzn.com/B001TDFT1W.

I know they aren't the cutest, but LO has been living in his crocs this summer. But I think they have some options for girls that look more like sandals, ballet flats, etc. Worth checking out, anyway.

I got some of the SeaWees sandals that Mrs. Bee mentioned (I think?) on the blog. It took us a couple of tries to find the right size, but now that we have it, they are working out great!

LO really needs a pair of sandals. She's a few days shy of 14 months and walking really well so she can go to a hard sole.

What sandals or water shoes is your LO wearing?

I really don't want to spend too much but she only has a pair of Brook SKR in her size now and that's too much for hanging out poolside.
Ideally I'll rather get her a pair of sandals that can double as water shoes.

Thanks!

P.S. I do like Saltwaters but they're more than I want to spend unless you have a pre-loved pair of 5s or 12-18m you're looking to sell! ;)
