Also, iPad. </p> <p>There was a big Target in Ft Myers just over the bridge on the way to captiva/sanibel that we stopped at and got snacks and a few beach toys that we passed on to another family before we left! I went when my son was 2.5 and I was pregnant with my second. We mostly played at the pool and on the beach and rented bikes one day (they had kid seats &amp; helmets)... it was a great trip! He had a blast, but it was colder than usual - low 50s, so not ideal beach weather. Our hotel had beach toys for the kids to play with. Not sure if yours is the same? So we didnt pack any of that. We did pack a bunch of his toys and needed like half, so keep that in mind. He has flown a bunch and slept both ways so we just got lucky with that. Otherwise - ipad and snacks always work. It's her first plane trip - she is 3. I've got some new books and little toys and snacks. Anything that worked well for you on the plane?</p> <p>Also, planning on bathing suits, beach clothes, some first aid stuff, and maybe some sand toys for packing - anything that is a must-bring that you've learned from family beach vacations? Since we are flying we're kind of limited with space. It's our first flying/beach vacation and while I'm so excited, I'm paranoid we'll forget to bring something obvious. </p>
