We had a similar experience. THe moment my daughter saw Santa, she clung to me and got hysterical. The worst part- I had pre-paid! She looked happy and adorable! So that was the NICE picture :)</p> <p>Then I handed her off to Santa and he held her.... She started crying right away and looked so angry at me for leaving her. The elves took a picture anyway and we bought that pose too. That's her "I'm scared of Santa" pic!! It's a classic!!</p> <p>We haven't been to Santa since... I'm waiting til she's more comfortable, and I think this year is it... She's 3 and understands Santa and Christmas alot more this year.
