It's exciting, and then I realised what happens after tummy --> sitting: sitting --> crawling. And then, of course: walking, running, borrowing the car, breaking valuables, girlfriends or boyfriends, college, moving out, a career, moving to another country, eloping, having his own kids ... <breathe> <breathe> Okay, feeling a bit better now. He has been pushing himself up into a crouching position on both his knees or on one knee and one foot a lot lately. He went from his tummy to one knee and foot and then pushed himself backwards to a sitting position! It took me a while to realize that this was a new accomplishment for him. He's 8.5 months. He is growing up so quickly! It's bittersweet..
