@MaisyMay: We don't have a "nap schedule" yet at 10 weeks. I just let her sleep when and where she can. I guess on weekdays she will get a lot more sleep because I take her out for walks and our house is pretty quiet just the two of us. DH does have the TV on all day - which K loves to watch. I warn him about over-stimulation, but she seems to zone out in front of it sometimes. We also see a lot more people on Saturday, visitors, or going out. But night time routine is always the same...

@shopaholic: It can make a difference is LO is used to certain things from certain people. How does she nap? I know that on Saturdays DH is home earlier from work so her afternoon nap is usually shorter because she wants to play with him. Or if we are at her grandparents'. We'll put her down at the same times, but she won't sleep as long.

@MaisyMay: Our night-time routine doesn't change on Saturdays on who does what or even the time? If that makes a difference?

I know that LO is a little harder to get down on Wednesdays, but it's because Daddy does all of the nighttime routine since I work late. I get home just as she's asleep or right after. She's used to me feeding her solids and getting in the tub with her. I guess it's just different with Daddy.

Gah! Is it a coincidence that the last 3 or 4 Saturday nights now, K has been really difficult to get to sleep? The first 2 Sat. nights, we thought it might have been the one glass of wine I had. Last Saturday, we said it was gas (we were in the mountains - elevation). Tonight, it took us over 2.5 hrs to get her to sleep. DH said it's because we woke her up early and went to a party (started at 11am). She was clearly over-tired, but fighting sleep and was so frustrated!

IDK if it's a coincidence, or if it's because Daddy's home on Saturdays, or she knows we'd like her to sleep her normal hours since we can stay up and have more time to spend together or what? Do you notice your LOs are more difficult to get to sleep on certain days?
