I also keep "milestone" ones, like the first picture of a person DD1 drew (she hadn't drawn anything that actually represented anything before that). I got a cute scrapbook box for each kid and keep these in there. DS is only 3.5 right now so everything is just scribbles. I take pictures of it first but honestly don't even know why.
