I had the wetness/spotting when I got my BFP as well. I thought for sure my period was imminent as that did not happen to me either of the other two times I've been pregnant. I was assured by the nurse practitioner at my doctor's office that the spotting around the time your period is expected is extremely common (and I haven't had anything since).
