We had to put her down earlier this week. She couldn't eat or drink anymore, so the vet said it was time. DH was there with her, so she was with someone who loved her. It sucks for so many reasons: she was relatively young, two months ago she seemed perfectly fine, DS will never get to know her, she was a wonderful friend. Thanks to everyone who replied to my earlier post - your support was uplifting. Losing a pet is terrible and my heart goes out to everyone who has been in this situation. </p>
