I too have a breech baby. We scheduled a C-section and surprisingly, labor started for me at 5am on the same day. I guess our LO is in control after all. I quickly called my OB and she told me to go to the hospital right away because there was no point for me to be in labor for that long. The hospital was able to move up the operation time 2 hours earlier! I had a planned section due to my lo being breech and it was a great experience. Hoping you have the same. </p> <p>PS there's ideally about 2 hours of prep work they do for a c-section which is why they want you in as soon as you start labor. We scheduled a C-section for next Wednesday at 9:30am (39 weeks and 5 days at that point). </p> <p>On Monday I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. I just lost my mucous plug (and lots of it...). Does this...mean anything or should I just relax?! I only ask because they seemed to be VERY insistent that I go in ASAP if I start to show signs of labor (and I know losing my mucous plug isn't a sign, but combined with everything else...I don't know, whatever!)... </p> <p>Tell me to simmer down and that I could still be sittin' pretty for another week! </p>
