It's in remission at the time, but I couldn't eat anything acidic or it would put me in a lot of pain ( like how coffee makes you pee a million times when you have a UTI). My patents treated it like such a joke the first few times I went home to visit them. They thought I was making it up and nun diet was fake. It was pretty hurtful. I couldn't believe it! And this is also why I'm always so scared to let Xander have anything that ANYONE had made besides me! I just don't trust people to actually be careful since it seems like so many people just don't understand what is considered a milk product or not, despite labels clearly stating things like "CONTAINS MILK" on them!</p> <p>Sorry to threadjack! When we were at the PICU and ordering food for Xander, one of the nurses asked if I wanted BUTTER on his carrots!! And they KNEW he was allergic to milk!
