@matador84: Oh no! Scary! I had heard there is more chance of a "sunny-side-up" baby with an anterior placenta (which I have). Hopefully that's not my case. :(

I had it extremely bad the last couple weeks. Honestly exact symptoms you described and I could barely walk. I had a natural birth and horrible back labor. Turned out DS was facing the wrong way which caused such bad back pain!!

I didn't even notice it during L&D. So much else going on it just melts into the background.

I had terrible sciatia during the last few weeks of my pregnancy but it was not an issue during L&D at all. And it felt SO GOOD to not be preggo anymore and have it gone!

Wasn't even a thought in my mind during L&D. Before the epi I was too focused on contractions, and after you really can't feel anything.

My pregnancy sciatica has come back for the past week and sticking around being a literal PITA as I've been doing loads of laundry and cleaning from this weekend's mess. ugh!

I can barely bend, lie down, or get up from lying down without shooting pains. And walking around with almost a limp. :(

For those of you who suffered from sciatica towards the end of your pregnancy - did it affect your Labor & Delivery? I can only imagine how uncomfortable every position is! I guess with an Epi you don't feel anything? I know I need to rest right now but it's hard to even be comfortable while resting these days!
