Sadie does this too, but since she's rolling back to front, and I don't trust her on her belly, I set up a little cocoon in her crib so she wouldn't move. I just rolled up a couple blankets & put them on either side of her. I put them armpit level, down. It works well!

LO do strange things in their sleep, as long as it isn't a safety issue let her be. DD slept without moving when she was an infant, now as a preschooler she is all over the bed currently we find her upside down with her feet on her pillow each morning (head is on the pillow when she goes to bed). DS is also an active sleeper and all over the crib during the night.

@MamaMoose: I think she is kicking the crib and it is waking her up though. We can try and move the monitor but I don't know how to keep it in place on the crib. Right now it sits on the ledge and doesn't move.

Just let her do her thing... she's fine to scoot down to the bottom. Maybe move your monitor so you can see all of her if you want to. My LO started scooting around in there early as well. She had a cold recently and we propped up the head of her mattress and every morning we find her on her belly with her head at the opposite end so she is now tilted upside down. Silly girl.

R has reflux, so we put a crib wedge under her mattress when we moved her into her crib three weeks ago. We would lay her down (she is asleep when we put her in the crib) towards the top of the crib. By the time she wakes up in the morning, she is at the other end of the crib and we can't see all of her on the monitor. She sleeps in a swaddleme blanket. But she moves her head back and forth so much in her sleep. Even lifts her feet up in the air, so I guess that is causing her to "fall" to the end of the crib. The other morning her feet were kicking the crib, she had scooted herself all the way down. I think that it even woke her up, cause she doesn't normally wake up that early.

So I took the wedge out to see if that would help. Girlfriend still scooted herself down the last two nights. This morning, I barely could see her head on the monitor.

This is a picture of the store model of our crib. We have the monitor on the back right, so we can pretty much see most of the crib.

But how do we get her from scooting all the way down the crib? Should we put the crib wedge on the other side, so it would stop her? Any other ideas?
