There is a HUGE consignment sale going on right now and, while I did spend less than $300 (I have to look at the reciept again. I think it was closer to $275) I got a TON and 2 of the things were really big, really expensive items that I got for over 50% off and were NEW, Like, new new. </p> <p>I got:</p> <p>A NEW glider w/ ottoman ($100)<br /> NEW travel system-the exact one we had been drooling over. (only $98!)<br /> bumbo w/ tray ($3)<br /> Pack and play ($15)<br /> Bouncer<br /> Mesh bath bouncer thing...<br /> 6 swaddlers<br /> 3 swaller sleep sacks<br /> 10 onesie sets<br /> 8 maternity shirts... they were all too cute to pass up and all but 1 can be worn as non-maternity and you would never know!<br /> 1 maternity dress- same deal w/ the non-maternity<br /> 1 new boppy with new/unopened cover<br /> Baby Bjorn ($10!)<br /> Infantino carrier NEW ($10... wasn't sure which one we would like more so I got them both and figured we could just re-sell the one we didn't like. He like the infantino, I like the Bjorn. Looks like we are keeping both!).<br /> Oh! And a I will be picking up our vibrating/ position changing swing this weekend from somebody who just wanted to give me hers that she wasn't using! She got it at her baby shower and her kid hates it. It was like $100 and she is just giving it to me free!</p> <p>@anonysquire: I am so glad I am not the only one who has found the wonders of consignment! We only spent $20.05 and this is everything we got:<br /> 10 onesies<br /> 7 pants<br /> 2 dresses<br /> 7 sleepers<br /> 4 hats<br /> 8 bibs<br /> 20 socks<br /> 1 patent Mary janes<br /> 1 crib sheet<br /> 4 receiving blankets<br /> 5 shirt/pants outfits</p> <p>And that's all. The best thing is that most of the items were new! Or at least looked new. </p> <p>Do you ever shop at consignment sales? </p>
