My son only rubs his face when he is sleepy so mittens/socks for those occasions only. During the day, he is fine. Other than keeping her nails clipped and filed, there really isn't anything else you can do. One way he self soothes is by rubbing his face ! I hate seeing him scratched up and keep his nails short. Any other tips ? </p>
