I've found some really cool editions of favorite books that way. Housing Works is great for browsing and sitting at the cafe. There are 5 locations, one has a cafe in it, we had a coffee cart in my location for a while. We go in about 2x a month and browse the children's section. I used to browse for hours, and wouldn't feel bad reading part of a book while there to decide if I should buy it or not. They also had a lot of science fiction and fantasy, which I read a lot growing up. I spent a lot of money on secondhand books as a kid!</p> <p>I think someone could make a successful secondhand bookstore that was also a cafe! Two of my favorite things: books and coffee. I would spend hours there... creepily smelling the books while sipping coffee. I read a lot of ebooks these days, but miss the touch and feel of paper books!
