But I will say that I think telling a secret service agent "fuck you" and disregarding their order when being asked to back up is a way to get yourself deemed threatening. Of course, in this political environment everyone hates law enforcement, (eta, and obviously I don't literally mean "everyone," I just mean it's pretty fashionable to pile on law enforcement) and particularly because the agent wound up on top (physically) he is going to be painted as the bad guy even though we don't really know what happened. My first reaction is that while the takedown method looks questionable, I am not a trained secret service agent and I don't know what is policy and what is legal in that particular situation.
