@SweetCaroline: Oh funny! My DS could scale our pet height baby gate and open our doors with doorknob covers but somehow lacked the fine motor skills to get into these!

We used these for that purpose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007A2ZSZ8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1544323923&sr=8-3&keywords=munchkin+baby+proofing&dpPl=1&dpID=310cWWGXoBL&ref=plSrch. One side attached to the side of the dresser and one side attached to the face of the drawer.

@meadow: same as @Littlebit7: I would recommend something like that rather than the Munchkin brand that is similar style. DD hijacked the munchkin ones in no time. As for removal on our white dresser, I was able to get one off with a hair dryer and some patience and you could never tell it was there.

@Kaohinani: thanks!!

@Iced Tea: yeah......I'm actually concerned about pissed off children or children who are being silly instead of napping who proceed to empty the drawers and make it "rain" clothes. I'm not folding all the clothes they own on the daily.......hah

We use the last kind listed above. They are really multipurpose. They are relatively easy for adults to unlock but your kids would have to work a bit at it

Here are a few ideas for drawer locks. (We have used them ALL.) The style used for each drawer will be dependent on how the drawer opens and how much lip/overhang each has. Good luck. :goodluck:

Safety 1st Magnetic Locking System, 1 Key and 8 Locks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004GCJMLG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vQ6cCbFGMD7HY

Cabinet Locks Baby Proofing Child Safety Cabinets Locks 10 Packs, No Tools or Drilling Needed Safety Drawer Locks for Drawers, Cabinets, Closets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DVLDFQ9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IT6cCbXHEX0WD
(On long drawers, use 2 of these about 8 inches apart)

Multipurpose Baby Safety Child Cabinet Lock Latch – Set of 6 Adjustable Locks & 4 Corner Guards – Cupboard Lock to Safeguard Babies & Toddlers – Durable Baby-proofing Drawer locks - Child Proof locked https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFYTS5Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xV6cCb8RNVKHW

Any clever ideas on how to secure the drawers so my toddlers can't open the drawers when we transition out of cribs.

Right now my only solution is to remove clothes from their room & turn it backwards.....but I don't love that idea.

Hoping someone on here has a good idea :)
