I ordered a bunch of shoes from Zappos and the Pedipeds fit her the best. I'm not a fan of the Smaller's sueded soles, and the Pedipeds just seemed to fit the girls better. I found the SKR to be wider than Pediped, which was one reason the Pedipeds fit both girls better; they have long slender-ish feet. I liked how the leather Pedipeds aged better than the cloth-- the cloth ones really showed serious wear before Ellie outgrew them, but we only had one cloth covered pair when Ellie was just starting to walk, so that was almost six years ago. They might well be different now. The leather ones are awesome. And I love that some of the styles can be dressed up or down so easily. They outgrow shoes so quickly, so for most of toddlerhood we only had one pair at a time that could be for play or for "dressed up" (though if you like to go really dressy it may not work as well for you-- we're pretty non-dressy people). My son started walking in the summer and with puddles, water features at the playground, etc. the SKR got wet and yucky, but the pedipeds have a great curved rubber sole that worked great. My daughter started walking in the winter so shoes were worn mainly indoors and I really preferred the SKR smaller so she had more contact with the ground. I know some people disagree, but for my active toddlers, SKR smallers didn't hold up outside. I always get them on sale with flash sale sites. They are by far the best shoes I have gotten and I have gotten many shoes (except for SKR haha). They go on easy and fit really well.
