<description>&#60;p&#62;Sounds like it. Self-Soothing is just like any other milestone so even though she was already in the age-range to be &#34;able&#34; to self-soothe she may just not have been ready.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;P kind of started around 6 months but it wasn't until almost 8 that she really started using her &#34;method&#34; in a way that it really worked and she fell asleep on her own, or more-so on her own.

<description>&#60;p&#62;LO has never really had a self soothing technique, she's never attached herself to a lovey, and she never took a paci.  Now, at 8 months, she has started to play with her hair and suck her thumb during our nap wind-down routine.  Is it possible to develop a self-soothing habit this late?
