He was STTN but would sometimes have wakings and want to nurse. As recent as 2 weeks ago and up to this past weekend, he was a total nursing monster and wanted to nurse all.the.time! I do think he might be working on his canines. He did the same thing- one day he just stopped. He'd latch, then pop off, over and over again, turning his head away. Apparently, for him it was time! Too bad I wasn't ready... My 17.5 mo old son has not nursed for 24 hours! </p> <p>Last night, he had a huge dinner so I chalked it up to him being full. But, this morning before I went to work, and even when he came home from his grandparents', and even at bedtime, he didn't want to nurse! I offered it to him, he latched but pulled away and said "no"!!!! Is this him weaning?! </p> <p>The other day, he nursed but kept in latching and staring at my nipple and then would turn away and then repeat. </p> <p>I'm not sure how I feel about it... I thought I was ready but it still makes me sad :( plus, he hates any kind of milk! But at least he loves yogurt! </p>
