For many moms, like myself, that's the hardest feeding to drop! So if I were you, I'd follow his cues, if you think he's ready... it sounds like he is...

We dropped it after the lunch feeding. It was an easy one for us because I work nights and wasn't here to do it. Now we nurse at 5 am and 5 pm.

I thought it was strange that my daughter (14 months) doesn't seem particularly attached to the nighttime feeding either. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

That was an easy feed for us to drop because it came shortly after dinner. At that age dinner was so big, LO was just going through the nursing motions for mere seconds before bed. One night I just stopped offering and he hasn't looked back since.

Has anyone had their LO drop their bedtime feeding earlier on? DS will be 1 in 2 weeks and just dropped from 5 to 4 feedings a day on his own. The past two nights he hasn't been really interested in his bedtime feeding. Is this really strange? It has been 4.5 hours since he last nursed and 3 hours since he had dinner. I am not quite sure what to do? Any ideas or advice?
