However if you have any other apple products, it is such a seamless interface between products, that ALONE is worth having an iPhone. I can read a webpage on my iPad, finish reading it on my phone (without having to look it up) share stuff SO easily, backup easily. It really is just seamless. Yet if you aren't married to the apple environment, maybe look elsewhere. My husband has had the samsung galaxy and loved it, and now has a sony xperia. The camera on the sony is ridiculous. Better than my iPhone 6s I think</p> <p>ETA: iphones also hold their value well. I don't know if you can say the same for the other brands? He loves, loves, loves his Samsung phone, but he liked the simplicity of the iPhone and that's why he switched back. </p> <p>For instance, when I send DH a picture of DS, Samsung gives him like 5 options of apps to open the picture with (this happens when I send him a FB link also). And he couldn't select a default app to open ALL pictures so he was annoyed with that since he had to make a selection every. single. time. Same with saving down pictures, he had pictures in all sorts of places and wasn't sure how or why that was. </p> <p>He also liked FaceTime. There's Skype and other video conference apps, but he liked the simplicity of not having to download another app and signing up, etc. He just had to click on the FaceTime app and bam!
