@ShootingStar: yep! the last sale I did in October I sold my boy infant clothes. I got rid of all of it! The time I tried to sell girl stuff it was a lot tougher, there was probably twice as much in the girls section.

@pinkb: I'm hoping the fact that I have a boy would be a plus for the infant clothes since there's a lot less competition and selection for boy stuff.

I have sold at several. I have found clothes to be the hardest to sell especially anything 12 months or smaller. Just because the mass quantity of clothes they have cosigned in those sizes. I have had the most luck in pairing atleast 3-6 pieces together all on one hanger and selling at very reasonable price. It is a lot of work but for me it has been worth it.

We found out we're having a girl, which means I have a TON of boy clothes to get rid of. I'm toying with the idea of selling a giant amount of stuff at one of our local consignment sales. It seems like a lot of work though, so I'm wondering if it's worth it. You have to buy hangers and tag everything and secure with safety pins.

A lot of the clothes I have, especially <12m, are mostly Carters. I know the Carters stuff tends to sell at those sales as long as it's priced well and in good condition. Whereas selling on eBay or at a consignment store might be a lot harder.

Does anyone have any experience selling at these sales? Any input into how worth it it is?
