I discovered a Facebook group for moms of highly sensitive children. This could be a source of info for you. Just search for "highly sensitive children" it's the closed group one.

How is your LO doing now? My little guy is 5 months and going through something similar. I just wanted to know if your little girl grew to be less overwhelmed.

@MamaChin: no advice but you have my sympathy. My LO was very sensitive but in the opposite way. She always cried at home but was happy when we were out. Even our bedtime routine was outside for months. We eventually met in the middle. We spend a lot of time away from home and she's better at home.

I hope your LO grows out of it soon.

@MamaChin: oh, poor baby! Have you brought it up to her pediatrician? I don't have any advice, but just wanted to offer my sympathy--it sounds rough for her and you.

Oh she is also sensitive in that she absolutely refuses bottles, pacifiers and even her vitamin dropper. People keep offering bottle brands to try but my problem is I cannot even get it in her mouth! She's thrown up from gagging every time I tried. But she'll chew on her lovey and toys?! Why so sensitive kid!?!

Does anyone have a super sensitive baby? E is 4.5 months and has recently become super sensitive to her surroundings. She cries everywhere but home unless she is in a carrier facing in. She cries at my mom's house, at the library, pickups and drop offs for big brother. It's to a point where we cannot go anywhere because she will hysterically cry for hours. At home she's happy and smiley, she is not colic. We manage to go to the market and on walks with her in a carrier, that's all! I know the only way over it is to wait it out and keep trying but it is so heartbreaking to hear her cry all the time. It is also frustrating because the summer is slipping away and I can't plan any outings with the kids! I stay at home with 2 under 2, big bro does to daycare 2x a week so I still have a lot of time to fill with them. Does anyone have any advice??
