This was when nursing to sleep no longer worked and i couldn't leave her room (with stupid creaky floors) without her going crazy.</p> <p>Instead of holding her, i patted her through the crib slats and just sang to her until she calmed down. Then continued to pat her until she fell asleep. It took a while, but that was the only thing i could do that i was comfortable with.</p> <p>I honestly can't remember when it ended because it was basically from the 12 month mark until recently (just over 2 years old) that we stayed in the room with her until she fell asleep. Sorry i don't have better advice/news for you! As soon as I leave the room he freaks, and conveniently this started just before we started daycare (but that's a whole separate post). </p> <p>Anyways I'm wondering about bedtime. I've been holding him till he's fast asleep, but the second I put him down in his crib he's absolutely hysterical. I can't leave him like that.</p> <p>Any tips? When will this end?? :( </p>
