@googly-eyes: the reasaon they tested me earlier is due to family history and being overweight. So they are being cautious. I am also feeling some rumbling, but it is kind of quick before i can stop and think about it. Also, been having some cramping, i just figured it was part of the growing process. I did get my results back this am they were normal so that made me feel a little better.

@Spaina Why did you have to take the test? Isn't weight staying the same normal?..mine has. On the bright side, on May 21st you will probably be able to get some great pictures! And it is very likely to be accurate on gender. And of course if you cave before then, I don't think there's any harm in getting a 3d/4d! :)

I have been having a lot of twiching and strange rumblings and I don't know if they are baby/uterus expending/combination or what. I hope baby but it started around just 15.5 weeks so that would be very early (although the baby at that point would have measured 16+ wks if we go by the measurements on my NT scan so maybe it is possible. I just don't know! I also am still feeling a bit crampy and even bloated at times which I thought was gone with the first tri. Told my doc it was nothing too bad though, so she said to only be concerned if it was very painful or there was blood.

Update, had my ob check up today and had to take a early gestational diabetes test. My weight stayed the same. My ultrasound is not scheduled until may 21. Makes me a little sad was hoping it was sooner.

@Spaina96: I hope you can relax a bit after the anatomy scan and you can feel the baby moving. I have never had a mc and I still worry a lot. I did the same with the maternity clothes from the sale..bought summery stuff.

@Skipra: Welcome (and a very late congrats!) I have had strange twitches and stuff before so I don't know what's what, so I really don't know if I've felt the baby. I try to remind myself it's still very early, especially being a first timer.

Am I the only one who likes to look at the other months' threads/ babycenter birth boards? I think to myself "ok they're only a month ahead of me, and I was just where these ladies are, so it won't be long til the anatomy scan!" (Although on babycenter it seems a lot of women claim to have found out the gender well before the anatomy scan.)

@skipra: Welcome! Our anatomy scans are scheduled for the same day. I'm really excited to see the baby again. There was so much growth from the first u/s to the second, and the pregnancy apps are telling me these next few weeks will be a big growth spurt.

Every once in a while I get these moments where it feels like an octopus is squirming around inside. It's always in the same general area, so I take it as baby movements. This is my first, though, so for all I know, I could just have a specific area where gas likes to form. :-P

Hi, can I join you ladies? My work blocks WB so I can't post there :( I just found this website recently and joined today!
I'm 16 weeks today, due 9/13.
I had my NT scan earlier this month and everything looked good on the ultrasound but I have to go for the second set of blood tests either this week or next and will have the official results within a week of that. My next appointment is 4/9 and then the anatomy scan on 4/17. I am anxious to hear the heartbeat and see the baby again!
I think I'm starting to show a little bit, but it's not really obvious. I told work around 13 weeks but I don't think it's gotten around to everyone yet and no one has really asked or noticed unless I told them. I am definitely feeling really fat more than pregnant and sadly had to give up my favorite jeans and work pants last week. Luckily the rest of my clothes fit and my sister gave me a ton of her old clothes. She's a SAHM so I need to get more things for work. I went shopping with my mom over the weekend and got a few things at Macy's and Old Navy but haven't worn anything.
Has anyone started to feel movement yet? I am not sure if I have but I felt something that was almost like the start of a hunger growl that fluttered rather than growled low in my belly. Hard to describe! It could have just been digestion but I've never felt anything like that before. I felt it last night on the train and earlier in the week on the couch. I'm guessing it's still too early for it really to be the baby but I'll know better in a few weeks.

@googly-eyes: It is pass the point, I only made it to eight weeks the first time. Only my husband knows about my miscarriage but he is very supportive. I am trying to be positive as can be.

I did buy some clothes when motherhood had there sale, but i havent wore them yet. We are going away in june, so i have been looking for some shorts that are light weight.

@Joyjoy: I only shopped because of the motherhood maternity BOGO sale and then one that old navy had..hopefully I don't have to buy much more! I put away a bunch of my tighter fitting clothes because I'm trying to take it a little easier on my body image so I don't get stressed out. I just did this so I guess I'll have to wait and see if it works! I'm at a stage where I still just feel bloated and fat. I'm almost worried about not showing yet even though I know as a first timer it's still early.

@Spaina96- Glad to hear your NT was good! It sounds like a very nerve wracking time in your pregnancy with your old due date approaching...forgive me if you already mentioned this in the old thread but have you already passed where you were in the last pregnancy as far as how many weeks pregnant you are? I know it doesn't always make a difference but some people say it gives them home when they pass that point. Is your family aware? I'm sure everyone will be so excited for your next ultrasound! That would be amazing if it were around your birthday! :)

I am 15 weeks this week. My NT scan results came back and they were good. My next appointment is not until April 9th, that day. I also go for a glucose test due to family history and my weight. I am hoping my gender scan gets scheduled soon after that, my birthday is april 20th so it would be a nice gift, plus the baby i miscarried would of been due that week so it would be a nice reassurance.
My husband always says how my stomach is growing, but i have been lucky and can still get in my jeans. I actually had lost a pound at my last appointment, hoping i stay the same weight at this appointment, since my doctor wants me to gain very little.

We have told family and close friends but that is it.. hope everyone on is doing well.

@googly-eyes: Glad to hear that everything is going well with you! How exciting that you get to find out the gender so soon! I feel like you're so on top of it, shopping early and clearing out your closet. I really need to get on that already. So much of my clothes don't fit anymore anyway.

I'm halfway through 17 weeks now, and our due date based on LMP is 9/02. According to my Fertility Friend chart, our due date is 9/06, but I use LMP for all our appointments since that's what my doctor is going by.

During our NT, the tech talked to us the whole time, pointed out different parts of the baby, letting us know all the measurements and that they were in range, etc. But I think the tech had a thing for DH because he said when I left the room to go pee she told him that he was good looking so his baby would be cute (??).

I have my second blood draw for the California prenatal screening this week. Then we go for the anatomy scan the third week of April (at 20 weeks). We're hoping to do a little gender reveal thing with our family, so that should be fun!

Showing? Oh yes. This marks the first week that my "fat jeans" wouldn't close. I had to use a Bella Band. My normal jeans haven't fit since week 13. I haven't gained any weight yet, but the belly is definitely noticeable in my regular clothing. I can still hide it a bit with tunics, but I look like I ate a LOT. :-P

We've announced to our families and most of our friends. We haven't done an official facebook announcement, but I'm not entirely sure we will.

Has anyone started registering yet? I feel like I should get on that soon, but I don't know if it's still too early.

Hi September Ladies,

It's been awhile since some of us have posted, so I thought I'd start a new post so hopefully we can get back in touch.

Congrats on making it to the second trimester, hope everyone is past morning sickness! Here is a list of who checked in to the last thread for September due dates...

9/03 - Bao
9/05- Honeybunches12
9/10- Krunrun
9/10- Roccoandkirby
9/18- Googly-eyes
9/19- Spaina96
9/25- Sorrycharlie
? Mrs.P
? Joyjoy

And we had some losses in the first trimester (Mamamoose, Tlcbaby) and we will always remember PennyLainne.

I'm so sorry if I missed anyone, or got due dates wrong (I know some have probably changed.)

So now that we are in the second tri, maybe we can update each other on...

How far along? I made 15 weeks yesterday! :)

Doctors appts/NT Test/other tests? My NT must have went well because they only contact you if something is wrong. I think I'm getting the more specific info at my appointment next week.

Gender update? We'll likely find out in 2-3 weeks!

Showing yet? Only my DH and I can tell, and barely! Still managed to buy maternity clothes because they were on sale and I cleaned out my closet of all tight fitting clothes and stuff I won't be able to wear soon.

Have you announced? We started telling people around 14 weeks and it is spreading now! Still not out on facebook, and not completely sure about when I will say anything..

Any other updates (or anything else anyone can think of to add on)? Nothing here!
