@teawithpaloma: Thanks! I think I'm going to use an OPK next month if AF comes. With my DD we didn't really try too hard. I got off bcp and AF never came and got BFP in 2 months. I'm older now and there's urgency, no time to waste!

Hi, hope it's not too late to this!

Cycle Day:
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation and POAS dates: 9/13? (not sure); POAS on 9/21 (BFN); will test again on 9/30
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month:
For Fun: What's your favourite fall activity? Anything special happening in September? apple picking!

So I got off the pill on 8/30 and bled from 9/2-9/4. I have no idea when I ovulated, but guessing it was 9/13-15 or so. I had an OB/GYN appointment on 9/17 for a regular checkup and pap smear and the doctor found brownish mucus (sorry TMI!). She thinks it could be old blood. But maybe ovulation spotting? Been feeling nauseous and crampy since 9/19. I know the chances are low since I just got off the pill, and withdrawal from bcp mimics pregnancy symptoms. Anyway, best of luck to all of you ladies still waiting to test!

@teawithpaloma: I'm still nursing my 19 month old and was very concerned about how it would impact TTC. I gently encouraged a bit of weaning starting last cycle, so I eliminated our morning session and all the random ones on the weekend and we full night weaned. We currently nurse when I get home from work and a little before bed but she doesn't get much. Also before nap on weekends but again doesn't get much. They do say cutting out a feeding can positively impact fertility, which is why we really focused on night weaning (plus we were hopeful it would improve her sleep!) but plenty of people have no issues getting pregnant while nursing, i was worried without real reason though.

Okay so I am 99% sure I am out this month. A negative FRER one day before my clockwork AF. So that's that! This means I get to enjoy a wedding at a brewery and wine country in October!

But I have a question - I am still breastfeeding my toddler at 18 months 2x a day. I actually got AF back at 3.5 months post partum (lucky me) and the have been completely regular. Do you think there is anything I should be looking at in particular with cycles and timing? I am going to temp this upcoming cycle which I have not done in the past. My DD was one and done so I am essentially a TTC past one cycle noobie.
