@nicole112: hugs! I have a good feeling for you this upcoming cycle.

My temp went up today and I am starting to get a little excited. Today is probably 10DPO and our anniversary, but I think I am going to hold off on testing a little longer. My temp has done this once before and after a few excited days, it dropped and AF came.

UPDATE: I went for a beta today…..they called me with the results and unfortunately, bfn. I'm okay though! I took a hpt yesterday and it was neg and I'm really trying to keep a positive outlook on everything. Next cycle is lucky 13 with first cycle with Clomid! I'm very excited to start the Clomid (not the possible side effects…but I'll do whatever I need to do!) Moving forward…… <3

@AmeliaBedilia: That does seem annoying! I would expect the shower to be for family and close friends...inviting every person you know makes it seem more like a present grab than a celebration!

I have been offline for a few days, hope everyone is doing well! 7dpo here (and 7dpiui) just trying to keep busy until testing or AF. AF is expected on Tuesday and if I can make it past then I will test

@Crystal: Sending hugs!

My very annoying SIL invited me to her sister's baby shower. I have never liked baby showers, and this really annoyed me. While I have met her several times, we have never had a meaningful conversation, and haven't seen her in about a year. They don't know we are TTC. I don't know if my annoyance is reasonable or not.

I got a bfn.... Kinda expected, cause my temps are dropping (first month charting). I only tested because I am going for an X-ray today but still...*sigh :sad:
Now I really want AF to start (already 1 day late) as I am going on a girls trip to an aqua parc this weekend!

@DC yoga bee : OH. MY. GOSH!!! I am so happy to see those lines! Awww, did I mention how much I love success stories on this board? Yall are my people! ;) I love that you were posting that while sitting next to your DH and he didn't know. Eek!

@nicole112: I'm sorry girl. I know that feeling. It's hard because we just want it so badly, but can't seem to get there. I've realized from church messages and listening to wise people in my life that God is not saying No to us, he is just saying yes to a better plan... whatever and whenever that may be. Hugs, Friend!

@MamaCate: It is so frustrating when the chart isn't clear. I would go more by CM than temps when in doubt. My rule is at least every other day until you are sure you ovulated. Kudos to your dedication.

I'm probably 7DPO, but possibly 9DPO. I am trying not to symptom stalk, and trying to convince myself that this is not the month so I don't disappoint myself.

@Crystal: well it sounds crazy when you put it like that but yes. :shocked: what was happening is DH was coming home around 4 am and we did a quick BD then I went back to sleep and temped when my alarm went off at 5:30 or 6 as usual. I tend to just temp in less than ideal circumstances and go back to discard if needed, but there was so much else going on last week (alcohol, travel, etc) that I would practically need to discard the whole week. So I am not sure what to do. Do you chart? Do you trust temps or cm more?

As for me, I am on CD19 and thoroughly confused. I have been charting for almost a year now but my temps are all over the place and my CM is still not dry. FF says I O'ed on CD 12 which would be insane because I am typically between CD15-18. There are a lot of good reasons for my temps to be all over the place, including bad sleep, early morning BD sessions before temping, alcohol, and stress. So I think that the temps are wrong but I am not sure what to trust. CM has seemed to have an unclear pattern too. So I am assuming the answer is to keep going on BD for a little while but it has been hard to coordinate lately. FX we can get in one or two more sessions before it is way too late or this might just not be our month.

Apart from TTC, I had a great weekend with my old college girlfriends so that was totally worth the screwy charting and maybe missing the window...but now I am pretty tired for actual work. Thank goodness for my new short work week!

Even though I haven't been around much I have been thinking of all of you often and I am praying hard for all of us!

@sarahnicole218: sorry (belatedly) for this news but hoping you get a halloween BFP!

@AmeliaBedilia: hoping your wait is over soon, and appreciate the creative thinking (and support) from DH!

@nicole112: ohh honey! i am so sorry about your BFN and about your SIL. It is hard to feel like you were in the same boat with someone and then they jumped ship so to speak and left you in the waiting boat. I think it is better to get your anger out somehow so you can deal sweetly with her next time. It is soo hard to feel like everyone else is moving along and we are still stagnant, or at least I am struggling with that.

@sarahnicole218: TY! <3

@AmeliaBedilia: It definitely hit me hard. Especially because 6-8 weeks ago her and I conversation about how she's been trying and how I've been trying and years ago, with her ex-husband they were trying and they had male infertility and she went through ivf and everything but was unsuccessful so she definitely "knows" how much it hurts and how hard it is and with her current husband they got pregnant basically on their honeymoon and experienced a little of secondary infertility and during our convo she was already pregnant but didn't know it yet. :happy: :crying: I prayed and prayed for me to be first and then her get pregnant like a month or two later (yes I was being selfish) but I don't have any yet and c'monnn. I wouldn't mind being pregnant together, but was hoping it was the other way around...BUT I am trying to be positive. I keep telling myself that I don't want "her" baby and I don't want to be angry at her baby or her because I do want to be happy for her. I want "my" baby. And I just feel a bit angry that I'm not having "my" baby just yet. I think that's what is most aggravating but I'm hanging in there..I think.

I totally had a breakdown at work today. *embarrassing* I've recently told the two girls I work with (one younger, one older than me…both not "ready" for kids) a bit what I've been going through…and it def makes it easier if I need a day off for the dr or something and I know they won't tell the world and I can trust them. But after lunch I felt a TON of anxiety…and I don't normally get anxiety like that. I don't consider myself a "highly anxious" person, but I've definitely been under a lot of stress and I think my body is reacting all wacky. Also, I am on progesterone supplements and I think that is also contributing to my craziness. I have also been crazy in other ways and agreed to work this past weekend and the weekend before…and everyday during my normal hours during the week (not one day off). NOW I am feeling the effects of my over-working and I feel all congested and very run down. My coworker made me leave work early today which I needed. And next weekend I am going away with DH and fan for his grandpa's 90th birthday a couple states away…so more weekend time of not sleeping in and relaxing…going right into traveling. I need a break from life lol.

Ohh and to make my post more ttc related, I took a HPT today after work, BFN. I'm 11 DPO and just felt the urge to pee on something, hah. Beta on thursday…now dreading it because I know what it's going to say. But…*positive thinking*. I hope everyone had a good Monday!

@nicole112: Ugh! That sounds awful. I've been praying that SIL isn''t pregnant before me. I don't know if they are even TTC, but that would be a total meltdown.

I'm hanging out in the TWW. We went white water rafting this weekend and stayed in a cabin that was one step above a tent, meaning everyone slept in the same room. (We had a full bed, thankfully.) I whispered to DH about how I wanted to temp, and he was totally sly- sat up in front of me, and had a "coughing fit" when it started beeping. :wink: No one realized it.

@dc yoga bee: Congrats!! :)

I've been MIA lately. Just hanging low. In the tww and going for beta on thursday 10/2. I'm on progesterone supplements and it's making me feel miserable, although now that I've been on it for a week, I think my body is kind of getting used to it. Who knows. FX super tight for my beta. I just found out that my sister in law is pregnant. She has been trying for #2 for a few months and her dr was going to do blood work and try Clomid, and then turned out she was pregnant on her own. Yay…:/ I had a breakdown to DH last night about it as I am happy for her but it effing hurts. We will be trying Clomid next cycle…Hope all is well with everyone! <3

AF is in full force, arriving overnight. My cramps are ridiculous, but my emotions are still in check. On to the next cycle and IUI #2. If I ovulate the same time, the IUI should happen on October 15th with a POAS day right before Halloween. Here's to hoping I will be a "mummy" on Halloween, haha, get it? ;-)
