I pulled out more than enough for the number of kids and set them on the counter and then if I noticed they were getting low, took more out. But honestly I don't think kids care if they're cold or room temperature. Otherwise I would put them on ice or maybe use ice packs. We have a plug-in cooler (no ice!) and usually tape the box kids on top of it so people know what's inside. A cooler with ice and drinks just thrown in there? Here are my concerns about not wanting to put them on ice: 1) Kids wont see the juice in a cooler versus having them lined up nicely on a table. Also, there will be 4 flavors (although maybe I will hold back the grape flavor if its not white grape). 2) I dont want a cooler of ice leaking inside and as kids pull out drinks, I dont want a wet drink dripping ever where. 3) Left over juice boxes once they are on ice dont keep (the cardboard goes bad).
