I'm assuming it's very hot where they are so I think cool pineapple would be really refreshing! When it is refrigerated, the flavors are more muted.</p> <p>If I went to a bed and breakfast that had home-grown fresh fruit, I would be annoyed if it was refrigerated. Like nectarines, peaches. I like these types of fruit to be firm.
