&#60;p&#62;I would get felt and cut out the shapes you need (for the yellow just fold it in half and then round out the sides and cut a hole for the head -you could scrunch/fold the top white part and use tacky glue to get it to stick -. Then buy a white beanie and your done!

<description>&#60;p&#62;I also have very limited sewing skills and I think I could tackle this.  I'd probably just get a yellow pillow case and modify it slightly.  Then you could probably get away with a premade white hat and just stitch on some white fabric to the pillowcase.

<description>&#60;p&#62;My son has decided that he's going to be a banana for Halloween. I thought it was funny the first time he said it but he's still talking about it a week later. Not only do I not have a banana costume for him, I can't find one in stock anywhere (except one on Amazon that is going to cost $70 and may not arrive in time). I have a sewing machine and a basic sewing skill level - how hard would it be to make something like this? Anybody have any tips on how to pull it off?
