Bump!

I made a hat: http://corinanielsen.com/blog/upcycling-inexpensive-easy-and-unique-props/ and will make some more.

I don't want to sew a bunch of stuff that people will give anyway, because I want to do it to save some money, but that might not happen. I have plans for some burp cloths today: http://buttercreamsewingmachine.blogspot.com/2012/03/tutorial-quick-easy-burp-cloths.html

I wish I hadn't made my husband get rid of old t-shirts before we moved! So many cute upcycled outfits.

Does anyone have a pattern for a cute/easy gender neutral going home outfit? Like maybe an infant gown?

Or also, those stuffed animals that are popular now that are just kind of two dimensional? They look really old fashioned? Do you know what I'm talking about?

Here's some stuff I've Pinned (and then sewn):

* Minky baby blanket with self-binding edge:

* Crib sheets:
http://prudentbaby.com/2011/01/baby-kid/crib-sheet-tutorial-part-2-2/

* Contoured burp clothes:
http://creamerchronicles.blogspot.com/2011/08/more-sewing-for-baby.html

* Quilted bibs:
http://sewshesews.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/quilted-patchwork-bib-pattern-and-tutorial/

* Crib quilt:
https://sew4home.com/projects/bed-linens/whimsy-charm-pack-baby-quilt

* Nursing cover:
http://www.diaryofaquilter.com/2010/04/nursing-cover-tutorial.html

I've also made curtains, and appliqued a ton of onesies. Looove to sew.

I made a maternity shirt using this tutorial: http://www.oneaviandaemon.com/?p=31 and ruching the sides.

I've made 3 dresses (all from this pattern: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/34084092) and a hoodie (http://www.etsy.com/listing/62855827/urban-unisex-hoodie-pattern-and-tutorial) for Toddler Girl.

Nothing recent though (nothing for Wonder Baby), clothing wise. I've done quilts for both the girls. Toys. Stuff. I like sewing :)

@cvbee: Ooh that sounds like a good project.

I was also thinking of doing a jersey knit nursing poncho. That's be super easy without a pattern too!

My friend just made a nursing cover....and she's not even a sewer! It's an item people will see a lot, so having a unique one is pretty cool. Do a pattern that has the wire thingy in it. She said her pattern called for 'boning' like for corsets, but she just used a dog leash lead.

I "hacked" a lot of maternity clothes instead of sewing from scratch - I figured it would be cheaper and quicker so I altered stuff to be more maternity friendly.

I just sewed an ottoman for the nursery and have a few "softie" patterns similar to the Simplicity one you shared. I plan on making fabric play food but I think I'd rather wing it.. cutting out those small pieces would drive me nuts, I'd rather fiddle with it and draft my own :)

Post pictures once you're done!

Has anybody made anything for baby or maternity? I'm trying to find a few projects to get started on.

Here are a few patterns I am thinking about:

Maternity wear: http://www.simplicity.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=6977&SEName=burda-style-dress-tunic

Baby toy: http://www.simplicity.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=1568&SEName=crafts

Toy (these are not really for a baby but so cute!): http://www.simplicity.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=4464&SEName=craft

Anybody have any other fun ideas?
