Afterwards my contractions were the strongest they had ever been (up to that point) and pretty regular for a few hours. All the stuff I mentioned is supposed to be good for you generally/good for getting baby into a good position/good for making labor easier when the time comes-- which is why I'm doing it all. But I"m not like, desperate to get her out by any means necessary haha.
