@PipersMommy: Awwww bless your heart! I have joked sometimes (when the swelling is super awesome) that my thighs are trying to eat my knees. : / But seriously, my feet feel constantly bruised and sometimes are so tender/sore. And sometimes those first few steps in the morning are so uncomfortable and tight, I feel like my feet may actually pop!

p.s. Your toes sure look great! :)

@MsLipGloss: I feel your pain on the leg/ankle swelling. I started calling my ankles thankles (thigh+ankles) when they started looking like this. Extremely painful, elevating them does nothing. I give you so much credit for wearing heels/hose. I can't handle anything but flip flops.

I haven't seen my legs or ankles without (ridiculous!) bloat for almost 4 months now . . . and my wrists/hands and legs/feet tingle constantly from the strain on my circulation. At least I have gotten over the feeling of thinking a bug is on me when I feel it now, so I don't randomly smack myself to kill *invisible* critters. :P

@Highwire: I miss my rings, too. I had to take mine off at 30 weeks. I still feel a little naked when I leave the house in the morning.

@MamaMoose: Exactly! I work in a professional office, and even though I know nobody would give it (much more than) a second thought if I rolled around in sneakers, I just don't think it's *fair* to not wear work-appropriate shoes. I am 37 weeks (today!) and still wear my 3" heels (and usually pantyhose, too) every day. I do, however, usually kick my shoes off when I am in my office, but still . . .

I will be sad when I can't wear my either. I love my rings. On a chain is a great idea.

My current complaint is that I have to clean my kitchen. And it's hot in my house.

I'm sorry your rings don't fit! I hope you find a cute chain.

I'm sorry! I would be so bummed if I couldn't wear my rings. I'm really hoping that once I start swelling the temp will go down and hopefully cancel out the swelling so I can keep my rings on.

My current complaint is that I seem to have carpal tunnel syndrome but in my ankles and feet instead of hands and wrists (perhaps that has a name but I don't know it). My doctor's suggestion was to wear more supportive shoes. I work in a professional environment... I can't walk around in sneakers!!

@regberadaisy: And ugh, I mean obviously you can tell my fingers have been swelling due to the ring situation, but my ankles are definitely disappearing also.

@regberadaisy: @Mrs. Blue: That's a good idea, I don't know why I keep forgetting that it is an option to put them on a chain!

Would you ever consider putting one or both on a pretty chain to wear until they fit again? I'm not sure I would be brave enough to do that, but mine are snug anyway, so I'm sure I'll be in your position soon!

It's sad not to wear something so important, but at least it's only temporary and for good cause! Also, I'm super whiny right now, so I'm totally willing to just have a pity party with you!

aww I'm sorry! What about wearing them on a chain?

Mine were the cankles I got towards the end! That made me really sad, I never thought I would see a day where *I* had cankles!

My rings have been too tight to wear since like 22 weeks. I miss them. I tried to buy a cheap stand-in set, but they turned my finger green. We spent so much time shopping for my wedding set and picking them out and they cost a fortune...and now they are just sitting on the counter all alone.

Anyone have any cheese to go with my whine? Anyone else have anything they want to complain about?
