Have you thought of using hem tape for them? It makes the edges much straighter than I could with the sewing machine. Young House Love has a good tutorial on hem tape curtains.</p> <p>I made a ridiculous amount of stuff for DS's nursery over summer break (I'm a teacher &amp; was off): a crib skirt, curtains, painted a dresser, &amp; made a mobile. I just finished some stockings for the family last weekend. They took me like 2 months!
