I just get creeped out thinking about locked rooms with no windows filled with stuff that people don't care about enough to keep inside their houses. I'm not afraid of dead bodies or anything being kept in there... just like, big stuffed animals and Christmas lawn decorations just sitting there in the dark, doing nothing. I love the show Storage Wars because they get to go in and look through everything.</p> <p>2) I absolutely love birds, especially hawks. Every time I see one soaring around in the sky I have to stop and watch. I think I should take up birdwatching as a hobby, and I'd love to be a bird in another life. If those exist.</p> <p>3) My second toes are shorter than my big toes, and all my other toes are the same length as my second toe... except my baby toes. They are miniscule. The nails on them are so tiny, they're just a narrow horizontal strip.</p> <p>4) I can't sleep with socks on. I hate when Wagon Sr. sleeps with socks on next to me. I also hate when he wears non-bed clothes to bed, which he does often. </p> <p>5) I go through phases where I ALWAYS have to wear a watch and necklace. Then I go through phases where I CANNOT wear a watch or necklace. </p> <p>6) I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. I also did not have a drop of alcohol until my 21st birthday.</p> <p>7) I have a strawberry birthmark on the inner side of my right calf. It totally freaks both myself and Wagon Sr. out because (sorry, cluster haters) if you look very closely, it's actually a symmetrical cluster of 6 small strawberry birthmarks. They're all perfectly round and there's one in the center and five surrounding it all in a perfect circle. I have a cluster phobia as well so I used to try and pick this birthmark off of myself when I was younger. Now I'm used to it. It's actually a good thing that it's so symmetrical and doesn't go away because that means it will probably never cause any cancer type problems for me.</p> <p>8) I was born with my dad's family's nose (very big, wide, and flat) and because my mom knew what that nose looked like on women on my dad's side of the family, she pinched my nose repeatedly every night while I was growing up. So my nose doesn't look like either my mom's or my dad's because she literally shaped it.</p> <p>ok I'm gonna stop here! I already filled out the form to register at the hospital where we're going to deliver, even though we don't know a lot of the answers yet. </p> <p>I can only have the volume on the TV on multiples of 5 -- 10, 15, 20. Even if that means it's too loud, because I can't stand the happy medium of 12 or whatever. </p> <p>I didn't learn to ride a bike until I was 21. </p> <p>I'm probably unnaturally obsessed with true crime type stuff -- the weirder and more profane, the more obsessed, even as I recoil. One time when we were eating roast at home when I was in high school, my dad was mmm'ing and aah'ing and told my mom it was really moist. GROSS! Once, in 7th grade, I was listening to the radio and they were joking about how the Weekly World News predicted the armageddon the next day, and even though logically I knew it wasn't true, I was so sick to my stomach I had to stay home from school. Every time I heard a plane fly overhead, I thought it was bombs coming for us. Even today, when I hear too many stories of earthquakes (like last year) or stuff like that, I get really scared that the world is coming to an end. I totally bought into the whole Mayan end of the world thing after the Miami face-eating incident, and then the guy in Philadelphia who threw his intestines at the police. I was like, see? Like I'll be in the car driving and I'll see the perfect patch of grass under a tree by the water fountain at a park and think "Oh, I would sleep there, and then use the water fountain to brush my teeth, then I would hide my valuables under that rock over there." I also look to see where other homeless people are sleeping and try to figure out their strategy as to why they chose that spot.</p> <p>Also, I'm constantly invisibly typing with my fingers. Like I'll be thinking of sandwiches and I'll type s-a-n-d-w-i-c-h-e-s with my fingers on my lap. I would be sitting on the toilet in my grandparent's house, chatting with a large, pale green dinosaur with lavender dots. Every. Single. Night.</p> <p>2. Anytime my brain isn't extremely focused on something (basically if I'm not reading, on the computer, or watching something fascinating) I multi-task to keep myself from getting bored by drawing leaves and vines mentally, on everything around me. I have a very specific method for drawing them too, the mental brushstrokes must all be identical every time.</p> <p>3. I'm afraid of geese. Like, jump up on a picnic table and scream for my husband afraid. I have a good reason though - when I was a toddler, one bit me in the face while I was strapped into my stroller and couldn't get away. It scarred me. </p> <p>4. Like Highwire, I ALWAYS plan an exit strategy. I won't use a restroom if the stall goes all the way from the floor to the ceiling, because I'm afraid the door will jam. If I'm in a plane, theater, room, car, anything, I plan out how I would escape in various situations. </p> <p>5. I am DEEPLY afraid of lizards. The weird part is, I wasn't always. As a child I had a pet iguana. But then, as an adult overseas, I was cleaning some screens at my parents house, and three, HUGE, heavy, FAT lizards fell out and onto my head, in my hair. I screamed and shook and it took forever to get them out, and then I threw up. It was awful. Now, if I see one, I get sick to my stomach and start to shake. It's pathetic. For this reason, I won't drink SoBe drinks. They have a lizard on them. It freaks me out. </p> <p>6. I can't whistle. At all. </p> <p>7. I frequently meet famous people, and always say something stupid because I don't know what to say. I met the guy from Mythbuster's when he came into the Taco Bell I was working at, and I was like "Oh. You like burritos?" and he said "Umm. Yeah." It was embarrassing. Then I met the techy guy from Leverage in an airport in Austria in the security line, and I was like "Toothpaste, right? I can walk and go up/down stairs like that, too! My knees turn out when I do it. It doesn't hurt, but it requires some concentration. When I was younger, I had orthopedic shoes and got made fun of for my "duck feet".
