First of all, you never know when you'll actually need the photographer, so booking a date is awkward, and 2nd of all, the subject is tricky. My photographer said a sleepy baby is easiest to photograph, and so I thought we'd be in luck, since with the jaundice he was soooooo sleepy. (which for the record was around $1200 for a full day and rights to the photos with 2 photographers, lol!). I found a semi-up and coming photog who does newborn (and weddings) and she's only charging $150, and we get a cd with the images and rights to print. If I had to pay more than that I wouldn't have booked her...we're tight on money too :/ ugh. </p>
