@shopaholic I just used eBates for the first time yesterday! I'm so excited to see my online purchases add up!

@purplepumps I totally agree on the never absolutely having to buy! I just bought a super nice Sampsonite suitcase at TJMaxx because it was such a good deal. I could have used it a few months ago for a trip to Europe, but they were too expensive then!

@PurplePumps: DITTO on this "But the biggest thing I find that helps is never *having* to buy anything at the moment, so that you can wait for a good sale/deal... or being able to guess what you may need and buying it if its a great deal to use in the future."

I always buy when I see a good/great deal and would rather save or wait for when it's needed then to have to buy when I need something and pay full price.

Because of that strategy, I just constantly keep my eyes peeled for clearance, sales, etc. I also have mentioned it a lot on HB, but I'm a big fan of scouring TJ Maxx and Marshalls for anything and everything. For online stuff, I always like to price comparison shop and use eBates for cash back.

For Baby Gap, I shop now a lot on Tuesdays for the additonal % off with card holders.

I check slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com anytime I need to buy anything. Fatwallet also has cash back for just about every site out there. I always check my credit card bonus cash back first though. If you don't mind signing up for spam, lots of sites also send out coupons once in a while. But the biggest thing I find that helps is never *having* to buy anything at the moment, so that you can wait for a good sale/deal... or being able to guess what you may need and buying it if its a great deal to use in the future.

I get a lot of my deals by buying used. Especially clothes for LO and myself. I always buy sale items and love clearance sections! Target will go through and clearance out a lot of their stuff at once and it is awesome! We have a thrift outlet near us and that place is amazing! I just made a trip on Saturday and got 2 boxes of 144 ct Huggies diapers for $12 each. Regularly they are $37.99 per box. I also got some toiletry items for 70% off. I like clearance racks at The Children's Place, Carters and Crazy 8. Buying store brand is a great way to save too. Also, buying in bulk I find can save money some of the time.

What are your favorite websites/stores for getting great deals or that have good reward programs? Do you have a bargain shopping strategy? I know a lot of places do mark downs on Thursdays, so I try to hit them up that afternoon. Also, I never buy anything full price from places like Gap and Loft that send out coupons often.

I'd love to lean how and where everyone finds their deals!
