I love shower games as well!! I always win. Haha. I just went to a shower where everyone submitted their baby picture in advance, and they printed them out and hung them up and you had to match the person to their baby picture. I only got two wrong (swapped them). I got a cute vase of flowers as a prize.

I am a huge fan of the baby food tasting game. Buy lots of different flavors, take the labels off, make people taste with toothpicks and guess which flavor is what.

If there are boys at the shower it's always hilarious to watch them do the baby bottle game... buy cheap plastic baby bottles, fill them with water (or beer!) and whoever finishes the bottle first wins.

I like this memory game... done it for both bridal showers and baby showers... get a big tray, fill it with baby-related items (or wedding-related items for a bridal shower) and cover with a cloth. Then reveal for 60 seconds, re-cover then have everyone write down the items they can remember seeing. Whoever has the most wins. Then the mom can keep the tray of items.

You can also interview the grandmas about what the future mom and dad were like as babies... they did that at the last shower I was at and it was so cute. The grandmas weren't there but they did a powerpoint presentation of their answers.

At my friend's shower, we played a game where you had to match the celebrity baby name to the parent/s. We had a lot of fun with it. People did it throughout the shower, and then we went over the answers while she was opening gifts.

I really like the price is right. Either get baby items or pictures of baby items (bumbo seat, package of bottles, pack of diapers, etc.) and have them guess the price. Add up the totals, closest without going over wins. If I've actually bought the items I put them in a basket to give to the mom to be.

I also like the bingo game: print off a blank bingo board. At the top you can either use the letters b-i-n-g-o or the mom's name or baby's name if it's the right number of letters. As guests come in they can fill out the bingo board with things they think the mom to be will get. Sometimes I like to make a list of things from her registry to give people ideas about what to write. Use candy like m and m's or skittles to mark the spaces. I like this game because it acts as a conversation starter as people are trickling in and also gives guests something to do instead of sit and stare at the person opening gifts.

I'm also a big trivia fan. It can be trivia about the mom and dad, random baby facts, etc.

i did a cute one for my bff when she had her twins that was two peas in a pod =) her favorite thing was that i got a bunch of cloth diapers (the kind you use as burp rags, not real nice ones) and fabric markers and everyone wrote well wishes or decorated one. she said she wouldn't have used onesies with stuff all over them (personal preference), but that every time she used one of the cloths, they made her smile. i also love when people do a book instead of a card!

I am probably one of the few people that actually enjoys party games! I really like the one where you list a bunch of traits and everyone guesses whether the mom-to-be wants LO to inherit that trait from mom or dad.

My sisters did a great job with my shower. There was an alphabet theme so lots of things were labeled A is for...B is for...etc. Guests were also asked to bring a book to add to LO's library which I loved!

My sister is expecting and I am thinking of doing a rainbow theme (since the nursery will be beige, grey and white...haha) with rainbow fruit skewers, a candy bar and a onesie decorating station with iron-on appliqués.

-Bedtime stories- have people bring books and you can do stars and a moon
-Scrapbook party- You can have people bring pictures of themselves when they were babies, along with pictures with the mom and dad and everyone can make a page. If they don't have a picture you can take one wiht the mommy to be there and print it out
-Painting onesies or bibs

I'm throwing a shower for a friend - YAY - but I need a little help. Several girlfriends are pregnant, so I've been going to *a lot* of showers, but, I'm not seeing much that I want to reuse unfortunately.

I was hoping some of you might have already been down this road, and could share your funniest/funnest games and maybe some theme ideas?

Thanks!
