I found this incredibly awesome perfect DW app recently called Mouse Memo. It holds everything from reservations to fast pass times etc AT A GLANCE. I'm loving it on my Apple Watch but will be useful on phone too.

Save this link to your phone. No images so it loads fast and it shows you the posted wait time at any attraction. We used it a ton when we had free time and we could quickly run to something that had a short wait time (versus walking up to each ride looking at the sign).

http://www.easywdw.com/waits/

@newfymom: yes, we use Undercover Tourist for our tickets as well. Just got my tix with a UT deal from Amex offers that ends tonight. ($30 off of every $150) but Ebates has a slight discount with UT that still works.

Also if looking for a stroller. I loved Magic Strollers. Sign up for a D23 account and look for the d23 Magic Stroller webpage to enter your d23 number for 15percent off. Delivery is by 7am at your hotel.

We were just there in early Dec- it was awesome!

Our friend who goes every year recommended undercovertourist.com- we got our tickets there and their itineraries were really helpful just to get an idea.
Magic Bands were really convenient and worth it- we went for 5 days.
One thing we did with Fast Pass was to always check the regular wait time of our Fast Pass rides. If the wait wasn't took long- like 10 min, then we would just wait and cancel the Fast Pass and schedule a different ride. Popular rides which we couldn't schedule initially would often open up midday so it's worth checking throughout the day. I loved the MyDisneyExperience app- so easy to use.
Enjoy!

In addition to prep school, mousesavers and a few others, I loved using touringplans.com. I created awesome first and second trips for the family at Disneyland using that site and a split screen to research specific rides, while making customized plans. When I used it for Disney World, it was a bit more complicated for a number of factors but was still helpful (especially when sorting out attractions by height).

Register yourself on My Disney Experience if you haven't already done so.

Stay at a WDW resort for at least the first few days of the trip and you get free Magic Bands. You also get to make your Fast Pass reservations 60 days from the start of your trip. :) So worth it.

Also, when you make your FP, have a plan of which ones you want, at what park, when. You can only pre-arrange 3 Fast Passes at ONE park per day. Some parks have tiers so you won't be able to get all 3 A-list attractions. You can research this too.

When you do the Fast Passes online (60 days in advance), click to agree to the first selection that Disney suggests (just to get your foot in the door), then click MODIFY to adjust to your preferred time. It's better than reading Disney's suggestions. Slows down the newbies who are trying to figure out which time package to select, but be a pro and go in with the times you want.

not really a new tip but

I purchased cheap ponchos and glow in the dark trinkets at the dollar store before we left. It's soooo much cheaper and when you're waiting for fireworks, a great distraction!

I don't know what happened to The Pirates of The Caribbean, but I've probably ridden it 30 times in my life and when we went a few weeks ago, we got soaked. Like soaked soaked. I've never gotten so wet on a ride in my life. Anywhere. I've never gotten but a few drops of water on me on it in the past, but it was awful in 50 degree weather and at night. Just a forewarning. :)

If you think your kids might be into character meets, check out Kenny the Pirate (website). He has allllll the info on character locations, times, best time to catch them, who to FastPass, etc. A friend who moved to Orlando recently recommended WDW Prep School, and they had some GREAT touring plans. http://wdwprepschool.com/fastpass-at-magic-kingdom-for-on-site-and-off-site-guests/ The last plan in the article is specifically for families with LOs.

I think most people know about bibity bobity boutique where they'll style you as a princess. But they also have a version where they'll dress your kids up as a pirate, although you have to be 3 to do it.

I've been three times with my son who is two and a half, so I know a lot about traveling with babies/toddlers. Some people aren't aware there are baby stations in every park. They have a special room for nursing moms with rocking chairs, several diaper changing tables, a place to heat up bottles or baby food, high chairs and a room with a TV and a few toys for siblings. I used those stations all the time, but there is only one in each park, so sometimes I would have to walk a bit to get to one.

Another tip is that kids under 3 are free to get into theme parks, and they can eat off an adult's plate at restaurants. This includes buffets! So I could load up my plate, and then share with my two year old. He had quite the appetite at that age, so this saved us money over having to buy a kid's meal for him.

Look up projected crowd calendars for the days you are going. easywdw.com has them I think. He puts up what days of the week the parks are the busiest and plan to go to the least busy ones if you can. It really helped us out a lot.

Also look ahead to what shows and parades you want to see and what times they're happening.

We made a master schedule ahead of time and it helped make everything go more smoothly.

Last time we went, my husband used a website to pick the parks we wanted to visit and the attractions. The service (free) organized itineraries for us and we didn't have to worry about what park to visit on what day (we don't do the park hopper options).

At night, we headed to Downtown Disney. It's free and there are a ton of cool restaurants down there. Plus a lego store, toy store, a dino dig, etc.

Definitely FastPass and reservations for food. The “wait time” app for rides is fantastic too and very helpful.

I think the biggest thing with kids is really being realistic with your planning. Pick a handful of “must have” rides or things to see, because you won’t get to see everything. Be ok with heading back to the hotel in the afternoon if the kids need a break. Unlike DisneyLand, I think it’s more important to stay at a WDW resort at DW.

We go twice a year so we make sure to limit the park time as not to overwhelm the kids. The pools at the resorts are awesome and a great break from the craziness of the parks.

From taking T when he was 20 months old (big family vacation there) I think the biggest recommendation I have is FastPass - so worth it! Planning out food is SO worth it. We once got stuck in TomorrowLand (which has terrible food) and the lines were horrendous!

Also, we loved the light parade and the opening parade / musical.

What are your best Disney Tips?
