They already have netflix and hulu plus, and an apple tv and they both have laptops and iPads AND a kindle fire(dad) and nook(mom). Ugh lol. They also already have iPhones and and wii with games. Jewelry is sort of a go-to for me with my mom but it feels like a bit of a cop-out since I do it so much. Same with clothes or spa gift cards. Her latest hobby is knitting but she already has a bunch of needles and patterns so I don't know that she really needs anything else. And my dad is really into scuba (just got his international license this year) but all that equipment is super expensive. She used it to get Netflix and Hulu and is obsessed with watching series on there like Downton Abby, start to finish. (Roku is a streaming video player- you use it to access Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, Amazon Prime video, etc, just like you'd use an Xbox, etc to do those things. It's super easy.)
