We've recently switched to a Paleo lifestyle as well. It's only been about a week and a half but I feel great and my clothes are fitting better.

The link below is what's in my crock-pot right now, it smells delicious. Though the canned tomato products aren't technically paleo, you can replace with fresh or try to find canned with tomatoes as the only ingredient.

I haven't done any crockpot meals lately but my husband is big into paleo so I've been trying to get into it as well. The easiest way to take our your pasta, but still have those quick easy meals is to replace your pasta with spaghetti squash. You can throw it in the microwave ( punctured ) for like 7 minutes and it's cooked, you can cut it up and steam it, or you can bake it. I've done 'fettuccini' alfrado, 'spaghetti' and meatballs, random veggies chopped up and tossed in the squash. It's pretty good.

I haven't done any paleo crockpot meals, but I have been doing some easy recipes that are pretty delicious! I like these recipes because you just toss all the ingredients in a blender to make a marinade, and just spread the marinated chicken on a baking sheet whenever you're ready to eat. The only downside is that baking chicken always takes at least 40-45 min. :(

1) Damn Fine Chicken - http://nomnompaleo.com/post/4207543396/damn-fine-chicken#

2) Asian Chicken Thighs - http://nomnompaleo.com/post/48192992479/asian-chicken-thighs

3) Orange Sriracha Chicken - http://nomnompaleo.com/post/65246577688/orange-sriracha-chicken

There are a few specialty ingredients like coconut aminos and red boat fish sauce, but if you're not going hardcore paleo, then I think using a spoonful of soy sauce or regular fish sauce here or there won't hurt.

These are two we do a lot:

Chuck steak, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, thyme and red wine. This is extra good with a few slices of bacon chopped if you have it around, also good with mushrooms either added for the last hour or sauteed and thrown in before serving.

Pulled chicken - boneless skinless thighs, usually with some chili seasoning or chicken rub and a small amount of water. When I get home I drain the liquid and I like it buffalo style - with Frank's hot sauce and either coconut oil or butter if you are still eating dairy, but it takes all kinds of sauces (BBQ, curry etc.), if you just check the ingredients, usually for added sugar or gluten. Honestly I usually don't worry too much about sauce because it's such a small amount, but it depends on how compliant you're trying to be.

Both of these I would prep the night before and then put on low for six hours.

@pregnantbee: Usually depending on when I start it. I'll do high for 4-6 hours, or low if I'm leaving it all day.

I hadn't thought about it being from Friends! No, it's from Ani DiFranco's "Shy."

My favorite is a 1.5 pound of flank steak, as many onions and green peppers as you'd like, topped with a paleo-friendly salsa verde.

@NorCalWayfarer: I'm excited to try new things! I really didn't think my husband would go for it, but he just told me how much he's looking forward to seeing what I come up with for dinner tomorrow. This makes me so happy.

In an effort to feel better, get out of our serious carb-filled food rut, and for me to lose the rest of the baby weight, we're starting to eat Paleo-style. Loosely, but I figure even removing pasta once or twice a week is better than what we're doing now. Anyway, I'm a WOHM and am in need of super easy mid-week Paleo meals that have few ingredients and minimal before-work prep time. Ideally, the meals would be fine if left on low for about 9 hours. Or low for 7-8 hrs and on warm for another 2.

Not a huge fan of pork or peppers, otherwise open to any and all suggestions.

Aaaand, go! Thanks!
