@aprk: I third this- keep a snack handy everywhere you go. I actually had a melt down on the way home from work once because the hunger came on so hard and fast I was certain I was going to die. DH was so sad for me, he bought granola bars and keept them in the glovebox for future food related meltdowns on our drive home.

@JessiBee: I slept in a drawer as a newborn...I think that's how people used to do it before there were pack n plays, co-sleepers, etc. My cousin slept in a laundry basket as a newborn. :)

@Mrs. Blue: Funniest and best tip every lol!

If you suffer from morning sickness keep snacks next to your bed to eat before you get up. If you breastfeed, keep those snacks, you wake up STARVING in the night!

Gin Gin candies in my purse for any queasy moments. Crackers (or pretzels) first thing in the AM and LOTS of sleeeeeep. I get about 8.5 hours (which is a LOT compared to my old 6 hrs!)

LOVE these!
I'd add: be willing to be a little selfish: leave (wherever) early when you're pooped, leave something undone when a nap or sleep is necessary, don't feel (too) guilty letting the spouse pick up a few extra chores. And don't stress about getting everything in perfect order before the baby arrives. As one friend recently told me when I was stressed about having not ordered a crib (oops...still haven't done that...): a newborn doesn't care. It will sleep in a sock drawer if that's where you put him/her down!

Buy maternity clothes because even if you can still (proudly) fit in your regular clothes, they will be stretched out.

Acupuncture and chiro really help with relaxation, pain management and positioning.

Dairy products are difficult to digest and might be causing vomiting in the 1st Tri.

@littlecasita1122 Tums were my BFF! I carried a bottle in my purse and kept one upstairs and one downstairs so I'd never be without!

These are great! I am just 4 weeks along today and no major symptoms yet (other than the hunger - I already started with the snacks in the purse!) so I am definitely bookmarking this for later. I always drink lemon in my water, so good to know that can help with nausea. All great advice, thanks ladies!

@tororojo: Haha, toilet hula, I love it!
@T-Mom: I love pigeon even when I'm not pregnant!

Mine are:

If you feel generally blah or crampy, drink more water. Almost always helps.
If you are falling asleep at your desk, take a walk.
If grilled cheese sounds delicious for the third day in a row, just go for it.
There's no shame in buying maternity pants in your first trimester!

The Toilet Hula: I pee all I can. Then I lean to each side, back, and forward. After that, I always can pee a little more. Kind of gross to type out, but knowing that I'm really back to an empty bladder makes me feel like maybe I can go a little bit longer before the next trip!

Just for fun. What's something you learned to do/eat/etc that you just want to shout from the rooftops for every pregnant woman?

Mine is: They make clear flavorless metamucil powder you can hide in any drink! And it actually works... unlike those metamucil horse pills I was taking 10 a day of!!
