Oh my goodness, I have no idea. Eating is soooo low on the priority list lately. On the bright side, I finally got out of my weight loss stall..I had stalled at about 7 lbs to lose, now I have 3 (plus more, but 3 to my prepregnancy weight.)

I try to do mine in bimonthly. I also usually make enough for leftovers every other day or so, or I make big batches of things that freeze well. From this/next week (some we've had already, some are still on the slate)

Black bean and chicken enchiladas with a pumpkin sour cream sauce, brown rice (SO good).
Pulled pork, potato salad
Beef Stew
Tacos
Butternut Squash soup
Vegetarian meatloaf (made with lentils and oatmeal) with mashed potatoes and green beans
Tilapia Dijon Fish Cakes, Roasted Asparagus
Spaghetti and Meatballs
Lemon Chicken Pasta
Baked Orzo with Eggplant

And we'll probably either go out or order a pizza at least one night.

We haven’t figured out next week yet, but here’s some of the meals we’ve had this week. We like to go to the farmers market on Saturday and see what veggies they have there before meal planning.

1.	Roasted chicken breasts with roasted brussel sprouts and potatoes
2.	Pork chops and mushroom risotto
3.	White fish and chard soup with baguette
4.	Pork chops and sauerkraut

All these meals are easy, and pretty quick to make (definitely can make in under 45 minutes or less from start to finish, except for the chops/sauerkraut) and are pretty healthy since they don’t contain butter or lots of fats/sodium, especially if you use homemade stock for the soup and risotto.

We usually meal plan on Saturday night or Sunday morning for the week and do the grocery shopping Sunday afternoon.

DH and I both work out of the house, so usually we plan to cook 2 big meals with leftovers, and then Friday - Sunday is a free for all.

Sunday - Rotisserie Chicken with polenta and brussel sprouts
Monday - Leftovers
Tuesday - Chicken fried rice (with rot. chx. leftovers) with broccolini
Wednesday - Ground pork and eggplant stirfry over rice with eggs
Thursday - Leftovers

@Thehistoryofus: I can't do crock pot because my husband's sensitive stomach, something about the meat cooking in the juices all day gets to him. Sucks because it's sooooo simple and easy :(

But one of our favorite crock pot meals was chicken tacos, just chicken and salsa then you pull the chicken. Also you can put beef and onion soup and any veggies (carrots, mushrooms, peas, etc), super easy.

@tororojo: No red sauce, just olive oil. I'm also not a huge fan of the sauce.

@artbee: Do you just use olive oil instead of pizza sauce? (or is the sauce assumed...) I've never tried making pizza without red sauce, but I'm not a big sauce fan so that sounds really good!

@Thehistoryofus: That's what the salsa chicken is from what I've read so far. It's chicken, salsa, corn and black beans on low for 8-10 hours then served over rice.

@artbee: Great suggestions! I just made a homemade taco seasoning the first time the other week. It came out great and my husband didn't notice.

Thanks for reminding me about pizza. My DD loves it! Last week we tried the pizza roll and it turned out ok.

I also would love to add a quiche to our plan because I've heard you can freeze them?

Any suggestions for crock pot meals that you can just dump everything in quickly in the morning?

I don't make my meal plan until Monday. I do my shopping on Mondays and I figure it out quickly before my LO wakes up.

I saw this taco seasoning on pinterest, because the packets have a lot of sodium. Haven't tried it yet though.
1 T chili powder, 1 T ground cumin, 1 T garlic powder, 1 T onion powder, 1/4 T crushed red pepper

I like to make pizza usually once a week. I buy refrigerated dough in the bakery section of the grocery store. You can put any toppings you want on it and switch it up, We like spinach, goat cheese, mushrooms, and tomatoes. So easy, quick, and yummy! First you spread the dough out and sprinkle olive oil on it, bake for 8 minutes on 400 degrees. then you put the toppings on and bake for another 15 minutes. Done!

Based off Mrs. Bee's post, I am going to try to make a meal plan for next week. I've got some extra time this weekend to go shopping and get stuff in order. Here is what I was thinking. Does anyone have any good recipes to make these kid friendly but also healthy?

Monday - Fish with rice and a veggie (maybe signature salmon if its on sale)
Tuesday - ??
Wednesday - Tacos or enchiladas with ground turkey
Thursday - Rotisserie chicken
Friday - Left over chicken on salads for lunch,
Saturday - ??
Sunday - Tuna Noodle Casserole (use leftovers for lunch Monday)

Any suggestions? Whats on your meal plan this week? How many meals do you try to make ahead?
