We also used the UB bassinet downstairs, but I'd say it wouldn't work for too long because the padding isn't very supportive and eventually their head leaves a dent. (We used the jolly jumper bassinet stand which I bought at BBB.) Then it was her crib in her room. We had no trouble with the transition since we had her napping in her crib before we move her there overnight. DS slept in the crib from day one and I'm very happy about that. I'm glad we never had to deal with transitioning him into the crib - we had enough sleep issues as it was. Our master bedroom is huge, in this case would you use a basinett (the one that came with our UppaBaby) or a real crib? DS will be 2 when LO arrives and I don't think he'll be anywhere ready to get out of the crib yet, so I don't mind buying a second one.</p> <p>Our DS slept in his crib from his first night, we wanted him to get used to the crib right away! </p>
