Otherwise it just gets overwhelming with too much. Dinners every weekend over and over. I think it is important. As adults though, I don't think it really matters. </p> <p>I was born right after Christmas, and my Mom made a special effort to make sure they didn't blend together. The day after Christmas she took down all the decorations and redecorated for my birthday. It just gets so hard to find the time to get everyone together for every celebration. My 2 kids are also only 2 weeks apart in terms of birthday.
